Glass Cup

The "Glass Cup" series features a dominant color palette of high-saturation blue and purple, creating a visual atmosphere that is both somber and brilliant.
These works originated from the most difficult moments in my life and represent a direct confrontation and transformation of pain, loneliness, and adversity.
The images are not only self-recordings of emotions but also reflect my philosophy and thoughts as a living being - seeking light in the deep tones of light and shadow, constantly questioning the meaning of life amid loss and disillusionment.
Each work's title carries a metaphor:
"The Mockingbird" symbolizes the whispers before dawn and the hope of rebirth;
"Wish Life to Bloom Again and Flourish" expresses the longing for the cycle of life and resilience;
"Embrace Reality" embodies the courage to confront pain and draw strength from it;
"Luna" uses the moon as a metaphor, reflecting the solitude and tender vigilance;
"Six Pounds" responds to the tension and choices between ideals and reality, death and life;
"Suiwei" is the embodiment of stubbornness and perseverance in the inner mirror; and "Lijiaodian"
- as the core of the series - is like a container filled with emotions, reflecting the coexistence of brokenness and transparency.
Overall, the "Lijiaodian" series is both an artistic practice of self-healing and my continuous inquiry into "how to continue living in the face of loss". In the high-saturation blue and purple color range, sadness is endowed with poetry, and resilience shines through vulnerability, like a lamp that shines with a glimmer of light, illuminating the darkest corners of life.
